Our History
A legacy born from the land
FINCA HOSTALETS 1898 has its origins in a Family Farm House: Founded in 1898. There, in a serene corner of Montsant, the olive tree was never just a crop, but a way of understanding the landscape, work and life.

Over time, the family developed a way of doing things that still defines us:
respect for the land, patience and absolute dedication to the fruit.
From that sincere relationship with nature emerged an extra virgin olive oil that began to travel further than we ever imagined. From this estate in Priorat, our bottles reached places where only the exceptional are welcome: first Harrods in London, and later, Korea, where our Mediterranean essence found an unexpected home.
But even with that projection, our identity never changed.
We remain what we always were: goldsmiths of EVOO.
A craft that is inherited, a sensitivity that cannot be improvised
Each harvest is for us a piece that is carefully polished.
Extra virgin olive oil is born from the earth, but its character is defined by time, experience, and the care and sensitivity with which each olive tree is nurtured. We work the same way we did in 1898: listening to the landscape, interpreting the seasons, and letting nature set the pace.

Today, that legacy takes on new strength. Our olive grove, cultivated with the same respect as more than a century ago.
The calcareous soils of Montsant, the Mediterranean climate, and meticulous management give rise to small-batch production, where the purity, balance, and authenticity of the fruit are paramount. We don't seek quantity: we seek truth.
A story that continues
The new generation of HOSTALETS 1898.
They look to the future with the same sensitivity they inherited: that of taking care of every detail, honoring the land and keeping alive a family essence that is not manufactured; it is passed on.
That's why each bottle of FINCA HOSTALETS 1898 is more than just an oil.
It is origin.
It's territory.
It is the honest expression of a profession that has never stopped evolving.
